The 601 brand is a collection of boutique blends from Nicaragua, created by Erik Espinosa, a passionate cigar lover born in Havana. It is produced at La Zona, his factory in Estelí, and offers full-bodied cigars with an innovative signature, including Laranja and Las 6 Provincias.
Geschichte
Erik Espinosa, born in Havana, emigrated to the United States when he was just three months old. The influence of his father, who worked in the tobacco industry, nurtured his love for cigars. His career began in 1997 at a local shop, after which he became an independent broker and collaborated with well-known brands such as Drew Estate, Rocky Patel and Alec Bradley.
He then established his own factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, known as "La Zona". There he produces his Espinosa cigars as well as the 601 blends, including Laranja and Las 6 Provincias. Over the years he has built a loyal following and stands as a leading figure in the craft tobacco industry.
