Camacho is a cigar brand with Cuban roots, produced in Honduras by Oettinger Davidoff AG. The house is known for bold, direct cigars, with signature lines such as the Corojo, the Connecticut and the Triple Maduro, along with barrel-aged editions finished in bourbon or rum casks.
Geschichte
Camacho was founded by Simon Camacho, who left Cuba in the 1960s and set up in Miami, bringing Corojo seeds with him. After Simon's death in 1990, the Eiroa family took over and moved production to Honduras, where they owned their own tobacco farms. It was in this period that the brand developed its true character, with bolder flavours. In 2008, Camacho was acquired by the Davidoff Group, which expanded the range without diminishing its intensity.
