Capadura
Capadura is a Dominican cigar house whose cigars are produced by the factory of Oskar Nausch, a German-born figure of the Dominican cigar industry. Its blend combines Dominican and Brazilian filler, a Dominican binder and an oily Ecuadorian wrapper, producing a full-bodied smoke with a rich, slightly chocolatey flavour and medium-intensity aroma.
Geschichte
Originally from Wuppertal, Oskar Nausch settled in the Dominican Republic years ago and became a prominent figure in the cigar industry. The Capadura factory supplies several clients, mainly in Switzerland and Austria, with brands such as Samana and Cibao, several private labels and, notably, the Capadura brand itself. In June 2021, following the success of these cigars in other markets, Oskar Nausch requested their introduction and distribution in Germany. Capadura cigars have since become part of the portfolio.
