Geschichte
The brand was founded by Rolando Reyes Sr., a respected figure of the premium cigar world outside Cuba. After leaving Cuba following the revolution, he brought his tobacco expertise to Honduras, where he helped shape a whole generation of cigar production beyond the island. Cuba Aliados became especially popular during the premium cigar boom of the 1990s in the United States, with production mainly carried out in Danlí, Honduras. Rolando Reyes Sr. is widely regarded as one of the pioneers who established Honduras as a global powerhouse of premium cigars.
