El Baton
El Baton is the most robust line produced by the American house J.C. Newman Cigar Company, hand-made in Nicaragua. Its cigars combine carefully selected Nicaraguan leaves, a Corojo wrapper and aromas of oak wood and black pepper.
Geschichte
The El Baton brand was launched in 1914, originally as cigars sold for a nickel, hence the name “nickel” cigars. After a long absence, its comeback was greeted with enthusiastic reviews, earning a score of 91 from cigar aficionados.
Today the house has its cigars hand-made in Nicaragua, using tobaccos grown in the most fertile regions of the country, for a bold and spicy expression.
