Emperors Cut is a premium cigar house born in Houston, Texas, and handcrafted in Nicaragua. It was launched by a group of five entrepreneurs and enthusiasts led by Darnell Streat. Positioned as a boutique company, the house focuses on strong identity, careful tobacco selection and limited production runs, with lines such as Natural Pleasure and the Jazz Series.

The house was launched by a group of five entrepreneurs and cigar enthusiasts led by Darnell Streat. Before bringing the brand to market, he and his team spent several years developing their own blends. Their goal was simple: offer a high-quality cigar that could be enjoyed any day of the week. The name refers to the ancient concept of the emperor's cut, the finest portion of a harvest reserved for the ruler.
The first collection, Natural Pleasure, featured several vitolas, including the Toro, Robusto, Grand Robusto and Shawty, in different ring gauges. The house later introduced the Jazz Series, a tribute to legendary jazz musicians, with the Miles, Trane and Dizzy cigars, each offering its own distinctive flavor profile.
