Kolumbus is a cigar house from the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands, Spain. Created by Marc Ripoll and Sergio Suñer, it aims to revive the archipelago's tobacco tradition. Its main lines, K-Rojo, K-Azul and K-Negro, offer vitolas with a distinct personality.
Geschichte
The Kolumbus house was launched on October 12, 2014, a date chosen for its symbolic weight, 522 years after Christopher Columbus reached the Americas. The tobacco is grown and selected on La Palma, using Canary Islands leaves and carefully composed blends. The brand lays claim to a heritage shaped by islands and oceans, recalling how Canary Islanders travelling to the Americas learned from Cuban craftsmen and later brought that tradition back home.
