Abuelo

🇭🇳 Honduras7 cigars

Abuelo is a Honduran cigar brand owned by United Cigars (United Cigar Group). Made in Honduras under the supervision of the Eiroa family, its cigars pair a Habano wrapper with Corojo binder and filler, offering smokeable robusto and toro formats alongside a larger Gran Abuelo, all named after family generations.

History

The Abuelo concept dates back more than two decades, tied to a personal family moment within the United Cigars circle, but the line went quiet for years. In 2021, David Garofalo brought it back, partnering with the Eiroa family and Julio R. Eiroa in Honduras. The cigars are produced at Fábrica de Puros Aladino S.A., located in Las Lomas, Jamastrán. The comeback marks a new chapter, grounded in an identifiable factory and tobacco of traceable origin.
