Drunk Chicken is an American house based in Washington D.C., founded by Desiree Sylver and proudly independent, minority-owned, women-owned and veteran-owned. Its handcrafted cigars, mostly made with Nicaraguan tobaccos, embrace a relaxed spirit suited to any time of day, with lines such as Fat Hen, Mother Clucker, Grits and Backyard Chick.
History
The house traces its origins to a gathering of friends in a backyard, with drinks, barbecue and cigars all around. The family chickens staggering back toward their coop gave the brand its name. Founded in Washington D.C. by Desiree Sylver in 2019, Drunk Chicken quickly built a reputation within the boutique cigar world through its relaxed personality and seriously crafted blends. Desiree Sylver remains deeply involved, attending events and nurturing a community of aficionados that feels like a circle of friends.
