Flor Real
Flor Real is a cigar brand of Swiss origin, founded by Kurt Brandt, whose production is now entrusted to the Nestor Plasencia factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The house offers hand-rolled, long-filler cigars with a smooth, medium-strength character and distinctive notes of vanilla and cocoa.
History
Kurt Brandt, a passionate cigar lover, moved to Costa Rica in 2000, where he became the owner of the Isthmus factory, one of the most prominent in Central America. There he produced cigars including Sueños, Flor Real and Chieftain's. Owing to changes in the political and economic climate, he later transferred production to Nicaragua. His brands are now made at the Nestor Plasencia factory in Estelí, a move that has ensured superior quality and a reliable supply of raw materials.
