Fosforo
Fosforo is a discreet boutique cigar brand from Nicaragua, created in the United States by Jeff Mouttet, founder of the Riverside Cigar Shop & Lounge in Indiana. Its cigars are handcrafted in Estelí at Garmendia Cigars Co. The house offers well-known lines such as Fosforo, Fosforo Connecticut and Fosforo Limitada, available in several vitolas.
History
Jeff Mouttet first conceived the cigar as an exclusive creation for the customers of his own shop and lounge in Indiana. Soon, interest from other retailers led to nationwide distribution through Pospiech Inc. The first cigars were handcrafted in Estelí at Garmendia Cigars Co. under the guidance of José Palacios. The portfolio later grew with releases produced at Tabacalera Segovias, while the house remained faithful to its Nicaraguan roots.
