Great Wall is a Chinese cigar house based in Shifang, Sichuan Province, and regarded as the oldest cigar factory in China. It is known for handcrafted production, mild and balanced flavours, and modern lines such as the G series and numbered editions.
History
Founded in 1918 in Shifang, the factory made handcrafted production and a long, traditional curing process the foundation of its work from the very beginning. Some of its cigars reached historical figures, including Mao Zedong. For decades the house remained a local treasure, reserved for official events and demanding smokers within the country. In recent years it has pursued a solid international expansion, with new lines that blend tradition and contemporary design.
