Sosa
Sosa is a cigar brand with Cuban origins, whose family story is rooted in tobacco since the early twentieth century. Its lines, produced in the Dominican Republic by Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia, offer varied vitolas and smoking profiles, with Connecticut Shade, Ecuador Natural, Maduro and Mexican Maduro wrappers.
History
The Sosa family already grew tobacco in the Taguasco region of Cuba under Don Juan Sosa, then under his son Arturo and his grandson Juan. After the Cuban Revolution, the tradition was carried to the United States: in 1964, Arturo and Juan B. Sosa established a factory in Miami. In 1998, Juan B. Sosa began working with the Fuente family and production moved to the Dominican Republic. In 2016, A.J. Fernandez acquired the Sosa Cigars brands, taking over their production and distribution.
