Timón
Timón is a Honduran cigar brand launched by Maya Selva Cigars, a house founded by Maya Selva, a tobacco figure with over three decades of experience. Its puros, hand-rolled entirely at Danlí with Honduran tobacco from wrapper to filler, come in three vitolas: Perla, Short and Robusto.
History
Maya Selva, born to a French mother and a Honduran father, grew up in Tegucigalpa and returned to Honduras in the early 1990s to learn the cigar trade in Danlí. She worked alongside Néstor Plasencia before launching Flor de Selva in France in 1995, followed by Cumpay and Villa Zamorano. The family expanded again in 2026 with Timón, whose cigars are produced at the Maya Selva Cigars factory in Danlí. The brand began its European rollout in September 2026, with wider international distribution planned for 2027.
