Dunhill
The Dunhill house, rooted in London and produced in the Dominican Republic, stands as a benchmark of British luxury in the premium tobacco world. Made by General Cigar Dominicana, its cigars display a classic, elegant and meticulously finished character, blending Dominican tobaccos with Connecticut wrappers. Its best-known vitolas are the Robusto, Toro, Churchill and Corona.
Historia
The Dunhill story begins in London in 1907, when Alfred Dunhill opens his first shop devoted to smoking accessories and tobacco products. Originally, the house focused far more on pipes, tobacco blends and luxury accessories than on cigars. Over time, it nonetheless became an important name in premium cigars. For many years, the brand worked mainly with Dominican production, whose blends are prized for their smoothness, refinement and excellent construction. In London's shops, Dunhill smoke hung for a long time in an atmosphere of private club, with leather chairs and dark wood. Although many lines are no longer produced today, the brand remains a classic name among aficionados.
