Garo
Garo is a Dominican cigar house made by Tabacalera Cinqo Estrellas in the Dominican Republic. It is known for carefully developed blends using tobaccos from several origins, and for a broad range of lines and vitolas, from the Robusto to the Churchill.
Historia
The brand was founded in 1995 by Dr. Garo Bouldoukian, a California-based chiropractor who turned his passion for cigars into a project devoted to crafting premium cigars. From the outset, production took place in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, with a strong commitment to traditional craftsmanship. The founder personally learned the art of cigar rolling so he could understand every stage of manufacture and refine his blends. The house began under the name Garo Habano before adopting the Garo Cigars name in 2013.
