Guillermo León
Guillermo León is a line of Dominican cigars made by La Aurora, the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, paying tribute to its current president, Guillermo León Herbert. Its cigars pair an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a filler blending Dominican, Nicaraguan and Colombian tobaccos, bound by a double binder of Dominican and Cameroon leaf. The Belicoso, Robusto and Corona Gorda are its best-known vitolas.
Historia
The collection was created to replicate the cigar that Guillermo León Herbert personally enjoys, turning his preferences into a blend aimed at aficionados seeking balance, complexity and character. Guillermo León Herbert is the fifth generation of the family behind La Aurora. Several cigars in the range have earned ratings above 90 points from leading cigar publications, establishing the line as one of the house's flagship premium collections. The Corona Gorda is Guillermo León's favourite vitola.
