Henry Clay
The Henry Clay brand is a cigar house of Cuban origin, now manufactured in the Dominican Republic by Altadis U.S.A. Its cigars, wrapped in a Connecticut broadleaf maduro, stand out for long filler tobaccos and fully aged Dominican binders, with notes of chocolate, spice, dark roast coffee and leather.
Historia
The brand takes its name from the American senator Henry Clay, nicknamed "The Great Conciliator", whose cigars enjoyed great popularity in the United States during the nineteenth century. Its origins lie in Havana, Cuba, in the early 1840s. Today the house carries on this tradition, its cigars being manufactured by Altadis U.S.A. in the Dominican Republic.
