Isabela
Isabela is a Nicaraguan cigar brand born in a small pink factory in Little Havana, Miami, created by Johnny Piette. Known for its taste for experimentation, the house offers cigars with unexpected formats and constructions, such as the Serpentine and the PepperHead.
Historia
Johnny Piette created the brand in 1997 after meeting Cuban master cigar maker Vicente Ortiz in Miami, who became his mentor. For years, he trained under him in tobacco selection, ageing and blending before developing the personality of his own cigars. Production later moved to Nicaragua, and in 2015 the company expanded its distribution. The cigars are still handcrafted using traditional Cuban methods by pairs of rollers with decades of experience.
