La Galera is a Dominican cigar house, born within the Tabacalera Palma and driven by José "Jochy" Blanco, a member of the fourth generation of tobacco growers and cigar makers in the Dominican Republic. Faithful to tradition and to the quality of Dominican tobacco, its cigars pair an elegant presentation with a distinctive flavour.
Historia
Jochy Blanco spent decades growing and processing tobacco for numerous other brands, refining his craft within Tabacalera Palma, one of the oldest and most prestigious factories in the country. After so many years, he judged the moment right to create a brand of his own. In 2016, La Galera was born to represent the best of Tabacalera Palma. It quickly became the flagship of the factory.
