Onyx
Onyx is a Nicaraguan cigar house whose cigars are produced by Altadis U.S.A., the group behind Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta and H. Upmann. Its style rests on meticulous construction, an even burn and intense flavours of chocolate, raisin, espresso and spice, carried by its original line with a maduro wrapper.
Historia
The original Onyx line debuted in 2000 to considerable acclaim among aficionados. It pairs an oily Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder with long fillers, fully aged, sourced from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Peru. This composition quickly established the brand as a reference for those seeking full-bodied, deeply layered cigars.
