Historia
Brothers Mike and Wojciech « Wojtek » Szczepankiewicz, of Polish heritage, were already active in the tobacco trade through retail and cigar accessories before moving into manufacturing. That step took them to Nicaragua, one of the leading countries for premium cigars, and shaped the brand's identity: a European-inspired concept executed with Nicaraguan craftsmanship. The name Powstanie, meaning « uprising » in Polish, refers to the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 and anchors the narrative that accompanies each cigar.
