Punch is a Cuban brand managed by Habanos S.A., one of the oldest and most iconic names in the world of Havana cigars. Founded in 1840 by the German Don Manuel López, it is known for a classic profile with earthy, spicy and woody notes, expressed through vitolas such as Punch Punch, Double Coronas and Short de Punch.
Historia
Originally designed for the British market, the brand takes its name from the English comedy character « Mr. Punch », a symbol of humour and satire that still adorns its boxes. Its original factory was located in Havana, where it quickly earned the favour of aficionados for its consistency and quality. Over its history, the brand passed through several hands, including those of the Villazon family, who took it to new heights before the nationalization of the Cuban industry in 1960. Today managed by Habanos S.A., Punch remains a reference in the global premium cigar market.
