Zino
Zino is a cigar brand from the Swiss house Oettinger Davidoff AG, produced in Honduras, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. It offers ultra-premium cigars, including the Platinum Crown and Platinum Scepter series, with a cooler and less classic look than its parent company's lines.
Historia
The brand bears the name of Zino Davidoff, who left Switzerland in 1911 to travel through Cuba and Latin America, learning about tobacco. His legacy inspires a range now relaunched by the Oettinger Davidoff group. Originally, Zino cigars were designed for the American market, at a time when the main Davidoff brand could not be freely distributed there. The Zino Platinum later introduced almost airtight packaging, intended to keep the cigar intact during its travels.
