The brand's origins date back to the 1990s, when Tony Borhani, a passionate tobacco lover, decided to create a line of puros combining artisanal quality with reasonable prices. From the outset, the house focused on balance: good tobacco, solid blends and a consistent experience from one puro to the next. Rather than competing with ultra-exclusive labels, Bahia built its reputation on reliable cigars that it has never aimed to produce on a massive scale.
