The Blackbird house launched in 2019, founded by two brothers who developed their passion for fine tobacco in the Dominican Republic. Jonas Santana, who began his cigar-making career at Tabacalera El Artista, brings his understanding of quality control to the brand. The factory was established in the Dominican Republic, while the headquarters were set up in Hialeah, Florida, making imports into the United States straightforward. Santana excels at telling a story through his cigars, with each blend inspired by the characteristics of the birds it is named after.
