CLE
CLE is a Honduran house founded by Christian Luis Eiroa, a former figure at Camacho. It is built on a seed-to-smoke philosophy that blends family tradition with innovation. Its main lines include the CLE Corojo, the CLE Connecticut and the CLE Prieto.
Geschichte
The brand was launched in 2012 by Christian Luis Eiroa, who had previously made his name at Camacho before going independent. His roots lie in Pinar del Río, Cuba, and his father grew tobacco in the Jamastrán Valley of Honduras. Christian opened the Aladino Factory in Danlí, where he now crafts his cigars from seed to smoke. The first releases were the CLE Corojo, the CLE Connecticut and the CLE Habano, all made entirely in Honduras with tobacco from the Eiroa family farm. The range later expanded with the CLE Prieto, the CLE Chele, the CLE Azabache, the CLE Cuarenta and the CLE 25th Anniversary « 11/18 », a tribute to one of Christian's old-school Camacho vitolas.
