H.R.
H.R. is a Nicaraguan cigar brand created in 2014 by Hirochi Robaina, grandson of the legendary Cuban grower Alejandro Robaina. Handmade at the La Corona Cigars S.A. factory, the cigars blend Nicaraguan tobaccos grown from Cuban seed with Ecuadorian wrappers. The range revolves around the White, Blue, Black and Signature lines.
Geschichte
The Robaina family has been connected to tobacco cultivation since 1845, the year it began growing tobacco in Cuba. Hirochi Robaina grew up in Pinar del Río, surrounded by tobacco fields and cigars. In 2014 he launched HR, turning his own initials into a cigar brand. Master cigar maker Omar González, with decades of industry experience, played a key role in the project. Although the lineage remains firmly Cuban, the brand is now handmade in Nicaragua.
