Jaime Garcia
Jaime García is a Nicaraguan cigar brand from the family behind My Father Cigars, produced in Estelí. Its flagship Reserva Especial pairs a dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos, delivering a medium-to-full-bodied profile across a broad range of vitolas.
Geschichte
The brand owes its existence to a cigar that appeared in December 2009 during a special event in New York, then without a name and made in a single size. Its success led Jaime García to add it to regular production under his own name. The son of Cuban master cigar maker José "Pepín" García, he belongs to a family that turned a small factory opened in Miami in 2003 into one of the major names in Nicaraguan cigars. Today the Reserva Especial is made at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí. The range has grown considerably since 2009, with Corona Grande, Gordo Extra and Figurado J.G. added in 2023.
