Kentucky Fire Cured is a cigar brand created by Drew Estate, built on blending a fire-curing tradition from Kentucky with Central American leaf. The house stands out for its varied vitolas, from the Just A Friend to the figurado Flying Pig, offering a smoky, woody profile.
Geschichte
The brand was born in 2013 from Drew Estate's idea of combining a curing method more than two centuries old, practised in Kentucky, with Nicaraguan tobacco and other filler leaves. The process hangs leaves in barns where wood fires of hickory, oak or maple are lit, so that the smoke permeates the tobacco. The line belonged to Drew Estate's innovative wave, which sought to challenge the classic cigar and show that another way of smoking was possible.
