La Flor de Zaida is a cigar house of Cuban origin, now revived under the direction of Antonino Piredda. Its cigars are today produced in the Dominican Republic. The house is known for Dominican blends with Habano or San Andrés Oscuro wrappers, notably the Diamond Collection, whose four vitolas bear the names of famous diamonds.

Geschichte

The brand dates back to 1920, when Manuel Hernández began rolling cigars in a small factory in Pinar del Río, Cuba. After decades absent from the market, the house was revived by Antonino Piredda, who kept its historic name and imagery while adapting it to today's premium cigar world. The new chapter moved production to the Dominican Republic, with carved wooden boxes, tobacco-leaf reliefs and elaborate bands recalling the original aesthetic. In 2026, the Diamond Collection makes its international debut.
