La Instructora
La Instructora is a Dominican cigar brand, handmade in the Cibao Valley by Tabacalera Palma, the company of José "Jochy" Blanco, the third generation of his family. Its lines range from the full-bodied Perfection and the Box Pressed to the milder Delicado, each built on a distinct blend.
Geschichte
The house belongs to the history of Tabacalera Palma, a company whose origins date back to 1936. José "Jochy" Blanco, the third generation of a family devoted to tobacco, leads it. Aaron Saide has also taken part in developing the brand's cigars.
La Instructora takes an approach with no one-size-fits-all formula. The bands of the Perfection and Box Pressed lines carry an abstract design inspired by Jackson Pollock's paintings, with the name appearing only in embossing when the cigar is turned to the light. The Blanco family itself places La Instructora among its most exclusive brands.
