La Invicta
La Invicta is a British cigar brand created by the company Hunters & Frankau. It offers two main lines: the Honduran line, with smooth and balanced smoking profiles, and the Nicaraguan line, bolder and featuring spicy, earthy undertones.
Geschichte
The brand emerged in the 1940s, during the Second World War, when obtaining Cuban cigars in the United Kingdom had become nearly impossible because of trade and currency restrictions. British company Hunters & Frankau responded by creating its own cigar brand, using tobacco from Jamaica and other regions. Its name, meaning "The Invincible", suited those times perfectly. The first cigars were designed with British smokers in mind, and the brand has held its place in the market for more than eight decades.
