MUWAT
MUWAT is a Nicaraguan cigar brand created by Drew Estate in collaboration with Joya de Nicaragua. Known for its imposing ring gauges, it appeals to aficionados who favour large diameters, with lines such as the 560, 660, 760, Bait Fish and Kentucky Fire Cured.
Geschichte
The brand takes its name from a Public Enemy song, « My Uzi Weighs a Ton », inspired by a joke about how much these massive cigars weighed. Jonathan Drew, co-founder of Drew Estate, developed the blend in 2010. The house was launched in 2011 in collaboration with Joya de Nicaragua. Some retailers now list these cigars as discontinued, yet MUWAT remains a recognised name among Nicaraguan cigar aficionados.
