Nica Rustica
Nica Rustica is a Nicaraguan brand made by Drew Estate, part of Swisher. Launched in 2013 as a tribute to Estelí, it offers rustic cigars with varied wrappers and binders, through the Broadleaf, Adobe and Shade lines.
Geschichte
Drew Estate launched these cigars in 2013 as a tribute to Estelí, the city where Jonathan Drew began rolling cigars in 1998 and where La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate was later built. The aim was to carry Estelí's culture, tobacco and personality into a cigar without turning it into a museum piece. The first vitola, with a closed foot and pigtail cap, evolved into today's Broadleaf blend. The name El Brujito refers to an ancient petroglyph from the region. In 2022 Adobe arrived, inspired by Estelí's colourful homes, followed by Shade in 2025, the brand's third expression.
