Santa Damiana
The Santa Damiana brand, originally from Cuba, is now produced in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera de García factory in La Romana, by the Grupo de Maestros. Recognizable by its yellow box, it offers cigars with a light Connecticut Shade wrapper and mild-to-medium flavours, with the Classic line leading the range.
Geschichte
The brand first appeared in Cuba, where it was made before a break in production. Its Dominican version, the Santa Damiana Classic, was relaunched in 1992 and established itself as the house's flagship. The cigars are now crafted by the master blenders of the Grupo de Maestros, using a silky wrapper and carefully aged tobaccos for a balanced and consistent smoking experience.
