Born from the Honduran house Caldwell, the L'Escalade Robusto is made by Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic. This 127 mm robusto with a 52 ring gauge pairs an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Dominican binder and a filler blending Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos. Medium in strength, it unfolds aromas of spice, cedar and cocoa, suited to aficionados seeking character.
