Ara’o
Ara’o is a young cigar house born from a group of friends with family roots in Pinar del Río, Cuba. It blends Cuban tradition with Central American tobaccos, notably from Honduras and Nicaragua. Its Terrón line, including the Maduro Tronco format, embodies the brand’s identity.
History
The Ara’o house takes its name from the traditional plow, the tool that marks the beginning of any crop, affirming that everything starts with the land and the leaf. It was not born in an office or within a large corporation, but from a direct connection to the soil and to tobacco. Its founders, a group of friends with family roots in Pinar del Río, set out to combine their Cuban heritage with a modern view of the cigar market. The brand then developed through successive lines, Yugo, Narigón and Cebú, before the release of the Terrón Maduro range, a natural step in this evolution.
