Bellatto
Bellatto is a Dominican cigar house launched in 2022 by Tony Bellatto, a well-known figure of the American boutique scene. Produced largely at the William Ventura factory, its cigars favour well-built blends with clearly defined flavour profiles, led by the Bellatto Edition line in Brazil and Connecticut versions, and the relaxed Knockaround range.
History
Tony Bellatto grew up surrounded by cigars: his father, Gene Bellatto, has spent decades in the tobacco trade and owns several shops in Ohio. Before launching his own label, Tony had already been active in the industry, notably with La Barba Cigars and Lost & Found. The house officially launched in 2022 as an independent project. Its flagship blend, the Bellatto Edition, was reportedly first created by William Ventura as a private smoke for friends and family, until Tony persuaded him to release it commercially.
