Bohekio
The Bohekio house is a Dominican cigar brand produced by Supreme Tobacco in the Dominican Republic. It is known for classic blends built on aged Dominican tobacco, offered in Habano, Connecticut and Maduro lines, with traditional formats such as Robusto, Toro, Churchill and Belicoso.
History
The name Bohekio refers to an important Taíno chief of the island of Hispaniola, before the arrival of the Spanish, reflecting the brand's wish to root itself in Caribbean history and culture. Bohekio was founded in the Dominican Republic and gradually built its reputation among premium cigar aficionados, notably in European markets, through a solid balance between quality and price.
The house sticks to traditional profiles, where wood, coffee, cocoa, nuts, leather and soft spices dominate, with no artifice or aromatic infusions. Its consistent construction, with easy draw and stable burn, remains one of its major strengths.
