History
The CAO brand was born in 1996 under the umbrella of General Cigar Company, created to break the mould with original ideas. From the outset it built a clear identity, with releases such as the CAO La Traviata, which combined Dominican habano with sweet spices and honey, sealed inside a metal tube. Lines such as Flathead, inspired by 1950s Chevy engines, and the tropical Amazon Basin extended this bold, visually striking approach.
