Casa Carrillo is a Dominican cigar house rooted in the Pérez-Carrillo family, whose Cuban heritage traces back to Ernesto Pérez-Carrillo Sr. Founded in 2009, it blends family tradition with innovation, offering acclaimed lines such as La Historia, E.P. Carrillo Encore and Allegiance that aficionados appreciate for their balanced blends.
History
The story begins with Ernesto Pérez-Carrillo Sr., a Cuban passionate about tobacco who learned the craft at a young age. In 1948 he acquired a factory where he started producing cigars with a distinctive signature. Historical upheaval then led the family to emigrate to Miami, where they continued their legacy in the cigar world.
Ernesto Pérez-Carrillo Jr., who had dreamed of being a jazz drummer in New York, returned to Miami to follow the family path. With an innovative vision, he transformed the business and launched the famous line that earned him worldwide recognition. In 2009 he took a new step by creating Casa Carrillo Cigars.
