Constantino González
The Constantino González house is a cigar brand of Cuban origin, now produced in the Dominican Republic from local tobaccos, with the wrapper sourced from San Andrés in Mexico. It is carried forward by the González family and by Eduardo González of Tabacos Quisqueya.
History
The brand traces its origins to Cuba, where the brothers Antero and Constantino González created it many years ago. It took root in Havana before the Revolution and appears in old Cuban trademark registries under the name "C.G. & CO.". Antero and Constantino are respectively the grandfather and great-uncle of Eduardo González, today the brand's principal champion within Tabacos Quisqueya. Over the generations, the house moved its production to the Dominican Republic, where the cigars are now made with local tobaccos.
