History
The Fuego family has grown tobacco since 1876, at the El Corojo farm in Cuba, across five generations. After leaving Cuba for Central America in 1995, Jesús Fuego worked in cultivation, fermentation and cigar production for other companies. In 2006 he created Tabacos S.A. and launched the J. Fuego brand with the Natural and Gran Reserva lines, marking 130 years of family tradition. The house then developed Origen, Sangre de Toro and Origen Originales, a 5-inch small format inspired by the cigars Fuego rolled to sample leaves, a technique learned from his father and grandfather.
