La Flor de Cano
La Flor de Cano is a Cuban cigar brand produced in Cuba under the auspices of Habanos S.A. A discreet and respected house, it stands out for medium-strength puros balancing earthy, woody and toasted notes with a subtle sweetness. Its vitolas, such as the Selectos No. 3 and the Grandiosos, are crafted from tobaccos grown in Vuelta Abajo, in Pinar del Río.
History
The brand was founded in Cuba in 1884 by the brothers Tomás and José Cano, who chose to create cigars with a smoother and more approachable profile at a time when many Cuban puros pursued extreme strength. For more than a century the house has endured within the world of the Habano without relying on large marketing campaigns. Its regional editions, notably the La Flor de Cano Mágicos Edición Regional España, have recently revived the interest of collectors and aficionados in a brand long regarded as discreet.
