Padrino
The Padrino brand is a cigar house produced in Cambodia, in the southern part of the country, by the company Power Cigar Tobacco Co. Its creator, the Cuban-Spanish Luis Sorinas, leads the brand. Its best-known line, the Padrino Maduro Serie 1, comes in the Short Robusto, Robusto Largo and Cañonazo formats.
History
The Padrino brand is led by the Cuban-Spanish creator Luis Sorinas, who brings a touch of Cuban cigar tradition even though the cigars are made elsewhere. The house stands out for its unusual origin: its manufacturer, Power Cigar Tobacco Co., is located in Cambodia. Padrino maintains that it is not the place but the talent, the process and the blend that define a cigar. Its blends combine Latin American tobaccos with high-grade wrappers, which has drawn the interest of aficionados seeking something new.
