Por Larrañaga is a Cuban house founded in Havana, producing cigars entirely handmade from carefully selected leaves from Vuelta Abajo in Pinar del Río. Loved by aficionados devoted to classic flavour, the brand offers vitolas such as the Petit Coronas, the Montecarlos and the Galanes.
History
The brand was born in 1834 in Havana, founded by Ignacio Larrañaga, a Spaniard who chose to immerse himself fully in the world of Cuban tobacco. From there, the house built a reputation among smokers loyal to classic flavour. It was among the first to experiment with machinery in cigar production, a move that caused quite a stir at the time. Manual craftsmanship nonetheless remains the essence of the brand, which has stayed active without interruption since the 19th century, a longevity few cigar brands can claim.
