Sancho Panza
The Sancho Panza house is a Cuban brand published by Habanos S.A. Drawing its name from Don Quixote's loyal squire, it offers medium-strength cigars, hand-rolled entirely with long-filler blends from the Vuelta Abajo area of Pinar del Río province.
History
The brand was first registered in 1848, and since then it has always been known for its high quality, capable of satisfying the most demanding smokers. Its name honours Sancho Panza, Don Quixote's faithful squire, from the major work written by Miguel de Cervantes in the 17th century. Like other great Habanos brands such as Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta, it draws its inspiration from universal Spanish literature.
The current range is made up of three Habanos, including the famous Molino, whose Galera vitola also bears the name Cervantes. This format recalls one of the novel's most iconic episodes, that of the knight charging the windmills he mistakes for giants.
