Viaje
The Viaje house, from Nicaragua, was founded by Andre Farkas. Known for traditional cigar styles, it first built its name with the Platino and Oro core lines before focusing on limited editions sought after by aficionados.
History
Viaje Cigars began in 2008, initially focusing on two traditional core lines, Platino and Oro. The house gained momentum when its Viaje Oro Reserva VOR No. 5 earned a 95-point score and took second place on Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 Cigars of 2010 list.
Following this success, the brand briefly expanded with small-batch and limited-edition lines such as Stuffed Turkey, Skull & Bones and Daisy Cutter. Their reception exceeded expectations, and customers increasingly preferred them over the core lines. In 2012, Andre Farkas made the strategic decision to focus exclusively on limited editions, establishing Viaje as a reference for craftsmanship and exclusivity.
