Azua
Azua is a Dominican cigar house founded by Jochy Blanco, whose family belongs to one of the most respected tobacco lines of the Dominican Republic. Entirely produced on the island from carefully selected local tobacco, its cigars favour clear, recognisable blends and classic vitolas such as the Robusto, Toro and Churchill.
Historia
The brand takes its name from the city of Azua in the Dominican Republic, which Jochy Blanco wished to honour as a tribute to his family roots and his homeland. Before launching his own house, Blanco had already built extensive experience in cigar production and commercialisation, shaping his understanding of what aficionados seek.
Since its beginnings, Azua has grown on a direct relationship with the smoking community, Jochy Blanco being present at events, trade shows and gatherings. This closeness allowed the house to earn its place through recommendations and aficionado circles.
